As a Finance Business Partner, you will be the driving force behind their financial efficiency, ensuring that stakeholders receive outstanding, customer-focused service. Your financial analysis and reporting skills will keep key stakeholders informed oftheir performance, helping to raise standards while delivering exceptional value for money. As an experienced Finance Business Partner, you’ll be familiar with many of your day-to-day activities, but here’s …What you’ll particularly focus on:
  • Provide top-notch business partnering support to key stakeholders, keeping them in the loop with regular and accurate financial analysis and reporting.
  • Uphold and promote our vision and values, becoming an ambassador for our organisation.
  • Take charge of managing the Trust budget planning software, reconciliations, and outputs.
  • Develop strategic business plans through data modelling, both for the short and long term.
  • Ensure financial compliance with funding agreements, SORP, Academy Trust Handbook, and relevant legislation.
  • Safeguard the integrity, quality, and accuracy of our financial systems.

  • A recognised qualification in accounting, such as CCAB Accountant or extensive experience as a qualified AAT accounting technician.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial compliance rules and regulations, including Charities SORP, PAYE, and VAT.
  • Proven experience in financial management and reporting within a multi-site organisation, ideally a Multi Academy Trust.
  • Exceptional financial planning skills, allowing you to introduce and maintain effective financial systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros) as a bonus.
  • Self-motivation, time management, and the ability to thrive under pressure, meeting challenging deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset, always seeking improvement and generating innovative ideas.
Initially, we are looking to offer this opportunity on a 6-month interim basis, whilst our current Finance Business Partner is adding value on a finance secondment.
