Job Description

Do you have experience of industrial disease in either a litigated or pre-litigated setting Are you ready to handle your own hourly rate noise induced hearing loss caseload If yes, then Keoghs may just have your next career move . . .Our Legacy disease team in Coventry are currently looking to appoint an hourly rate file handling who will have their own litigated caseload of NIHL cases.This is a full time permanent role.Key Accountabilities:The main role for the file handler will be to handle their own caseload of predominately litigated NIHL claims, in a supported team environment. You will manage and progress claims in accordance with appropriate strategies to secure desired outcomes for clients at appropriate levels of profitability.RECRUITMENT CRITERIA:Essential:

  • EITHER prior litigation experience OR pre-litigated disease experience working as a handler / assistant handler
  • Effective negotiator
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Flexibility in relation to tasks undertaken
  • Good listening and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain concentration and pay attention to detail
  • Ability to self-organise and self-prioritise
  • Ability to work under pressure and to target
  • An enthusiastic and hardworking individual
  • Good level of IT skills
