Field Sales Engineer - HQ - Rugby - Territory - Midlands / UK - Business Development Manager A 20mil SME looking to double turnover in the next 5 years! Brilliant opportunity - Great customer base and superb engineering solutions into a variety of sectors! Sectors to sell into: automotive - Packaging - Manufacturing - Food & Beverage - ConstructionSelling engineering / technical solutions - bespoke - into these sectors - autonomy - maturity - SME business - Growth!Selling to Engineering Managers, Head of Engineering, Manufacturing Managers and Directors, Procurement, Buyers, PurchasingIf you have sold into these sectors and/or to these decision makers this could be a very strong fit/ job match for youWe are looking for energy, motivation, new business and account management growth and a very good communicator with Field Sales / Biz Dev experience.1-3-month training/induction / product / solution / systems / stakeholder @ their site in Rugby.2 live vacancies due to growth - Exclusive roles with Duval Associates.** Completely negotiable salary from £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and track record in these sectors - Company car, fuel card, bonus structure **Start October/November 2022 (post notice)The client: 20Mil turnover business - Growing and ambitious! Engineering solutions into multiple sectors - specialise in 1 or cross sell between.No frills - this isnt a corporate business - this is a business with a proven track record and history and quite excellent client base.A BRILLIANT Opportunity for either:

  • A pure salesperson with superb organisation and previous / current technical sales experience from all sectors - someone who relishes a challenge and can trained in the industry but has driven and work ethic.
  • Someone from a technical / engineering sales background with a mechanical qual or someone who has sold into these sectors or decision makers.
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated salesperson who knows how to sell into this sector and understands the profile of technical and engineering departments
The Role Day to day:
  • Initially you will be based in Rugby, but this only lasts until you secure appointments with customers so the more customer you already know the faster you will be out on the road.
  • A split between home office and field - the more you are out the more you will be home and field based
  • Genuine opportunity to build an account base long term and entertain loyal customers and retain business.
  • The role will start with 20% account management and 80% new business and evolve into a 50 50 split or even more towards account management
  • Target years 1 for example depending on your experience will be between 500K and 1million in revenue across account management and new business.
