Job Description

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support within our Not For Profit organisation based in Coventry. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the efficiencyand effectiveness of our senior leadership team.Client DetailsOur client is a non-profit Christian organisation with sites across the country. With a workforce of over 200 employees, they strive to make a positive difference in the community by offering supportive and rehabilitative services to individuals in need.This role supports the Chief Executive and the trustees of the organisation.This role is based in Coventry with home-working available, and travel across the country required on occasion.DescriptionThe Executive Assistant will:

  • Support the Chief Executive by acting as a liaison with the Trusts Board members, senior managers, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality when working with Trustees, Senior Management, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead prayers and devotions as required.
  • Manage events, including venue selection, food ordering, setup, and post-event feedback.
  • Provide administrative support, including ordering supplies, handling inquiries, and managing rosters.
  • Assist the Chief Executive in report and publication production, policy development, and data management.
  • Manage the Chief Executives diary, travel arrangements, and supervise/appraise direct reports.
  • Arrange and service meetings, including logistics, agendas, invitations, paper preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Collect and present accurate statistics and information, including key performance data.
  • Organize and facilitate induction and onboarding for Board members, and provide support to the Chairperson and the Board.
  • Oversee action plan completion, updating on progress as required.
  • Assist in implementing new procedures, communicating changes to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct research at the Chief Executives request.
  • Provide training and guidance to Executive Assistants to support them in their roles.
.Profile
  • Have an appreciation of the organisations ethos and aims
  • Degree in Business Administration or relevant topic or advanced equivalent experience
  • Experience of liaising with a wide range of professionals including Boards, senior managers Proven administrative skills including organising and prioritising
  • Experience working as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant
