Job Description

Location - Norwich or Coventry - HybridPurpose of the Role: The eCommerce Executive will work closely with the eCommerce Manager, playing a crucial role in a proficient team dedicated to optimising customer experience and conversion on eCommerce platform(s). This role involvescontent creation, both onsite and offsite, to enhance SERP rankings, manage onsite merchandising, and support Conversion Rate Optimisation initiatives. The incumbent will contribute to fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage accountabilities for current and future brands across the business.
  • Support the eCommerce Manager in achieving key objectives.
  • Implement SEO strategies for improved organic search results and rankings.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research and SEO analysis using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SEOmoz.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce visual, written, and video content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics to anticipate trends and optimise campaigns.
  • Stay informed about the latest SEO and digital marketing trends.
  • Contribute to the creation of CRO tests to boost customer engagement and ecommerce conversions.
  • Focus on micro-actions and next-best actions to optimise the user experience.
  • Track and assist in the preparation of reporting of relevant KPIs to the SEO & Content Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to align efforts with overall business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in conversion rate optimisation and the ecommerce industry.
General Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and retain a highly engaged team of eCommerce executives.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Qualifications in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an eCommerce role with a focus on SEO and content management.
  • Core understanding of SEO best practices and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw insights from complex data.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation techniques and online customer acquisition strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team effectively in a hybrid working environment.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
  • Empathy and understanding of brand positioning and consumer needs.
  • Experience in a similar or larger size retailer is preferable.
  • Energetic personality with some experience in a Group structure.
  • Highly numerate, with a strong understanding of core KPIs.
