Job Description

As Digital Product Manager you will be responsible for designing and delivering new and improved digital capability. Join us in reimagining our consumer shopping journeys by leveraging new innovative technology to build truly omnichannel experiences. Yourrole will be focussed on improving the ScS consumer shopping journey, prioritising the product roadmap and defining the individual requirements which result in successful delivery and performance. You will proactively seek both qualitative and quantitativedata through consumer research and testing to inform new feature development, working with our development teams throughout the build process, whilst informing and aligning with the overall business strategy.ScS is excited to announce its new Digital Lounge situated within our Coventry store allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the ScS shopping journey, both with our in store experts and customers. We will be focussed on building truly omnichannel experiencesthrough improving our current proposition and revolutionising the homewares shopping journeys.The Digital Lounge will hold a wide range of opportunities for new and existing talent across digital marketing, ecommerce, UX and product.Join us to become part of our digital journey. Key responsibilities

  • Communicate between business teams, senior stakeholders, and development teams to ensure wide scale visibility and understanding of the experiences being built
  • Build out and prioritise the backlog of features and improvements for delivery through our product development workstream
  • Prioritise items through effective business casing and utilising qual and quant data
  • Build out requirements and stories through user-first approach, ensuring what we deliver offers benefit to either our customers or the business
  • Design technically viable solutions, bridging the gap between technology and inspiring user experiences
  • Work closely with the UX team to design seamless and effective digital experiences
  • Own the successful delivery of new features from conception to usage by working with key stakeholders, communicating solutions and timescales, coordinating training and documentation
  • Adopt and advocate the agile methodology for developing and delivering, allowing for flexibility to suit user needs
  • Adopt a proactive approach to discovering both defects and improvements for the digital journey, utilising the data and tools available

Experience & qualifications
  • Previous experience in digital product role
  • 3+ years in digital product management and building out detailed requirements for development
  • Working experience of building our detailed user stories and requirements
  • Experience of working within Agile frameworks and an understanding of UCD practices
  • Demonstrable track record of successful product delivery with clear commercial benefits
  • Working experience of product management softwares such as Jira and confluence
  • Technical understanding of digital/ecommerce and retail architectures
  • Strong technical background and ability to communicate complex technical advancements in business and customer value terms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Combined problem-solving and effective prioritisation capabilities
  • Commercial understanding and experienced in building viable business cases
