Job Description

DevOps Engineer LOCATIONBirmingham (Hybrid)Salary & Benefits

  • Up to £60,000 depending on experience
  • 25 Holiday days

The RoleYou will:
  • Be responsible for the companys build environments and liaising with the development team
  • Be responsible for design and cost hosting and pre-sale process
  • Be advising on the implementation and utilisation of Azure services
  • Test disaster recovery strategies
  • Reviewing the companys Azure environment
  • Be managing the SAML certificate applications
  • Ensure hosts are updated on time
  • Assist sales and project teams with focused pitching
  • Assist with IT management
Skills and Experience
  • Strong Azure competence
  • Ability to build Azure DevOps environments
  • Ability to manage pipelines
  • Ability to manage Azure infrastructure
  • Great understanding of Azure security
The Candidate
  • You will work with the team in order to develop strong relationships within the business, their clients, suppliers, contractors and freelancers
  • You will effectively communicate with colleagues and third parties
  • You will work with the team to create support proposals, collaborating with the management teams creating detailed briefs
  • You will be a proactive problem-solver
  • You will be responsible for escalating major issues to senior members
