Job Description

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer (HVAC systems) for a leading multi-national energy client in Coventry.Reporting to the Design Manager, the Design Engineer will be involved in all aspects of system design across a range of technologies and will be allocated to a specific large-scale project. This is the largest GSHP installation in Europe.Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for system design from conception through detailed design to postinstallation design verification
  • Specify equipment; produce system schematics, layout drawings and materials requirement
  • Offer technical support to the Sales and Installations departments
  • Attend client meetings as required to finalise and co-ordinate system capabilities and interfaces
    • Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering/Building Services degree
  • Have good understanding of HVAC mechanical system design principles
  • Experience in the use of AutoDESK suite of products: Inventor, AutoCad, Revit 3D, Excel
  • MATLAB, ABAQUS, Arduino, Python
