My client is a print and digital communications business based in Coventry. Due to continued growth and success, theyre currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to bolster their dev team. For this role they are happy to look at eitherpermanent or contractor candidates.The primary duty within this role is to develop a specific set of PDF manipulation functions, using Datalogics. These functions will include things such as: shrinking pages to set percentages of their original dimensions, moving page content left/right/up/down,rotating pages, file optimisation, addition of pages, etc.The role will also include work to allow configuration of the options, at a client level, from within one of the companys core systems. This will involve some interface work with configuration of items stored in the Cosmos database.Technical Skills & Experience- Experience with .NET C# or VB- Experience in any document database e.g. CosmosDB, Mongo, or SQL- Experience developing APIs and micro-services- Experience integrating with Message Oriented Middleware systems- Experience with MS Azure specifically CosmosDB, Service Fabric, Azure AD B2C, Azure APIM- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps / TFS- Experience with JavaScript SPA Frameworks e.g. Angular, React, Blazor- Experience writing HTML, CSS/SASS/SCSS- Experience with source control systems eg Git, TFVC, SVN- Experience with PDF libraries e.g. DatalogicsCore/Non-tehnical Skills- Excellent verbal and written English- Excellent attention to detail- Highly organised- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment - Be pro-active, enthusiastic and reliableSalary and BenefitsCompetitive permanent salary on offer for this role circa £65,000+, plus benefits including company pension and holiday allowance, etc.Contractor rates to be discussed at interview. This role is fully remote based, it would be beneficial for the successful candidate to be able to work 1 day per week in the companys Coventry office although this is not essential.This role is an urgent hire, please forward your CV for immediate consideration.
