Security Consultant - Remote Work - Contract - SIEM Implementation - 100% Greenfield ProjectA key client of ours are currently looking for Security Consultants to join their growing team. Working alongside two existing consultants your remit will be implementing the brand new SIEM solution, moving away from Logrythm and into DataDog. Key Responsibilities:* Monitor cloud security tools (SIEM & CSPM) for security events, weaknesses and incidents & respond where appropriate* Develop use cases, create alert logic and tune security alarms in line with the Societys requirements* Provide guidance and support to staff to remediate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and weaknesses* Provide expertise and advise on suitable information and cyber security controls for cloud (AWS) and DevSecOps technologies* Provide expertise and advise on good practice Cyber & Information Security control environment, including the approach to governing and maintaining suitable controls in line with relevant regulation and international security standards. Deliverables* Assessment, documentation, maintenance and socialisation of the Project Assurance Requirements for Information Security (PARIS) for assigned projects within one month of assignment, followed by monthly updates for the duration of the project and/or the contract.* Documentation and socialisation of policy waiver / risk acceptance where assessment finds controls to be missing or ineffective within 2 weeks of identification.* Any further Deliverables in respect of the Services as identified.
