Job Description

A global, full service face-to-face live events marketing partner is looking for a number of Customer Service Advisors to join its team. This position can be full time or part time and offers the opportunity to work from home but you will need to be ableto get to the office in Coventry for training initially and maybe be office based one day per week. Their mission is to create memorable event experiences and they count on their talented employees around the world to help them achieve it.This is a very varied role and includes problem solving and concern resolution for key clients as well as an element of outbound customer service and soft upselling of key products to existing clients.As a Customer Service Advisor your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer service, sales and general support for exhibitors within EMEA, via inbound and outbound phone calls, live chat, e-mail, white mail or other communication methods for all pre and post show inquiries and orders
  • Handling enquiries with appropriate and timely follow through, documenting all interactions and tasks immediately within the CRM systems
  • Case management with timely updates to exhibitors, business areas and all involved parties
  • Entering exhibitor, contractor and internal orders as appropriate, take payments, raise invoices and handle any related queries
  • Acting as a liaison between lines of business and exhibitors
  • Outbound soft selling, sales through up-selling with existing clients
  • Actively engaging in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted to your line manager
The successful Customer Service Advisor will have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous customer service experience
  • The ability to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent spelling and grammar with the ability to produce error-free documents
  • Excellent planning, organisational and prioritising skills
Part time hours of work for the CS advisor are 3.5 days per week 26.5 hours and Full Time is 5 days per week 37.5 hours. Due to the office location, your own transport would be an advantage.
