Job Description

Permanent Credit Manager opportunity leading a team of Credit Controllers and being solely responsible for a highly successful and growing organisations credit management policies and procedures. Leading a team of circa 15 Credit staff you will drive performance,manage acquisitions and ensure credit risk is managed expertly.Client DetailsMy client is a leading Community Services business with links to a variety of sectors. The business has grown consistently through acquisition and shows no signs of this growth abating. A superb permanent Credit Manager opportunity to drive the further improvementof the credit function and support further business growth through expert credit risk management.DescriptionThe Credit Manager vacancy based in Coventry for this Community Services business will involve:

  • Sole responsibility for the management of the companies credit control process
  • Management of stakeholder relationships, reporting to FD
  • Development, training and management of a large team of Credit Control specialists
  • Providing reports to senior management of credit risk and aged debt
  • Management of key internal and external customer relationships
  • Supporting in the effective transition of newly acquired businesses into the company
  • Monitoring levels of credit risk, providing recommendations to the business on the possibility of further acquisitions
  • Performance management of staff, providing training and support
  • Business partnering with all internal departments to ensure a smooth and efficient credit control service
  • Deal with and investigate escalated credit issues
ProfileTo be considered for this highly rewarding and fast paced Credit Manager role you will ideally be CICM qualified and have a broad understanding of credit principles. A superb communicator you will be able to build and maintain excellent working relationshipswith stakeholders of all levels both internally and externally.
