Job Description

Conveyancer Location: CoventrySalary: Up to £45,000 per annumOur clients are looking for a skilled and dedicated Conveyancer to join their team in Coventry. As a Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth transfer of property ownership for their clients. You will manage the legal aspectsof property transactions, ensuring all legal requirements are met, and transactions are completed efficiently.Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Transactions: Manage a caseload of property transactions, including residential sales and purchases, remortgages, and lease extensions.
  • Legal Research: Stay up to date with property and conveyancing laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all transactions.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions, providing updates and guidance throughout the process.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Searches and Investigations: Conduct property searches and investigations to uncover any potential issues or restrictions that may affect the transaction.
  • Financial Management: Calculate and manage financial aspects of transactions, including stamp duty, Land Registry fees, and disbursements.
  • Title Checks: Verify the legal title of properties and address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Completion and Registration: Oversee the completion of property transactions, ensuring all necessary documents are signed, funds are transferred, and properties are registered with the Land Registry.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualified Conveyancer or Solicitor with relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience in conveyancing, with a strong track record of successfully managing property transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal software and case management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards.
