We are currently recruiting to support the COVID contact tracing program, who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, can work independently and deal sensitively and confidentially with students and staff on COVID related situations. Ideally someone who has experience of working in a test and trace role or has provided advice and guidance in a health care type setting. You should be able to work on your own as well as part of a team and be able to make decisions on COVID incidents and advise and guide students and staff as appropriate. Working flexibly, this role needs to cover 9-8pm 7 days a week, including some weekends on a rota basis. Hours will be between 5-25 hours per week.Main Duties & Responsibilities*Provide confidential advice, guidance and information via telephone, Teams, email and face-to-face to individuals and groups of students/staff relating to COVID situations.*Liaise with Managers regarding the identification of those staff and students who may be required to self-isolate due to contact with an individual who has submitted a Positive COVID Test outcome. *Respond to critical situations and liaise with other members of staff including senior managers in implementing actions to minimise the spread of the virus amongst students and staff. *Utilise a range of data systems to source accurate data and contact information.*Record sensitive and confidential information and maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential records and statistics of cases*To work flexibly - this may at times include weekend and evenings. Person Specification*Qualifications in Communication/ Literacy and Numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths)*Experience of working on test and trace*Experience in providing advice*Ability to maintain confidentiality*IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office including Word, Access, Excel, Outlook and online case management systems*Excellent oral and written communication skills
