Job Description

Coventry / Hybrid or Remote£50,000 to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience + bonusWe are working with a highly successful, modern and progressive, Legal 500-recognised, Lexcel accredited firm, who are looking to attract an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive, where you will be well-supported and havethe opportunity to really drive the department forward and progress your career.The firm are based in Coventry, with hybrid working or fully remote working available.The role will involve:

  • Managing a wide ranging commercial litigation caseload including commercial contract disputes, professional negligence disputes, property disputes, insolvency, bankruptcy and winding up proceedings, director/partnership disputes
  • Advising clients on how to minimize risks to their business
  • Managing relationships with clients and third party professionals
  • Managing relationships between shareholders and employees
  • Protecting assets
  • Attending mediation/ settlement meetings
  • Issuing court proceedings
  • Dealing with disclosure and drafting witness statements
  • Preparing trial bundles and documentation required by the court
Suitable candidates will have:
  • Fully qualified status (solicitor or FCILEx) with at least 5 years PQE
  • Experience in running a varied commercial litigation caseload including high-value matters
  • Experience of dealing with business disputes at all levels
  • A desire to progress your career
  • A desire to grow the practice via networking and business development
