As our Commercial Director can you drive and deliver worldwide sales of our branded giftware and soft toy products into retail, distribution and wholesale markets throughout Europe and beyond (ROW excluding USA)BASIC SALARY: to £120,000 + Generous Performance BonusLOCATION: Midlands based (Northamptonshire) - but this is a global role with plenty of international travel.COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Wellingborough, Leicester, Bedford, Milton Keynes, CoventryJOB DESCRIPTION: Commercial Director, Global Sales Director, International Account Director - Giftware / Household / ToysAs Commercial Director within our innovative design-led organisation, you will be the strategic sales lead to take us into new markets and countries across the globe.You will be responsible for managing and developing new accounts, building strong relationships, creating business plans and the delivery of sales and margin growth to agreed targets. You will personally develop and execute key accounts and strategic commercialgrowth plans that will be measured against planned milestones and financial measures.Reporting to the Chairman and a member of the board you will also identify efficienciesin all other functions of the business (Operations, Marketing, Finance etc.). You will also represent the company in a potential M&A transaction and liaise with the USAoffice to ensure synergies and replicate their success.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Commercial Director, Global Sales Director, International Account Director - Giftware / Household / Toys· Achieve set targets for client retention and growth of international key accounts and distribution methods across all sectors. Focused primarily on developing the relationship, managing, and growing the business. · Know your customer and your market well, meeting regularly, visiting major product shows and retail monitoring. · Engage effectively with global clients, and our internal US business to replicate successful processes and cross border relationships.NOTE: This Commercial Director role is a hybrid role, and you will be the Owner, the Driver and the Doer as you need to make it happen and do not have a team of account managers to manage. In effect YOU will be startingfrom scratch but with a major brand and the backing of a successful business behind you.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Commercial Director, Global Sales Director, International Account Director - Giftware / Household / ToysEssential experience: · A proven B2B sales/account management background in Retail, Wholesale and Distribution sectors · Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial international strategy aligned with the companys growth objectives for new account development. · Strategically and commercially minded. A true work minded mentality is needed. · Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. · An established highly self-motivated individual, with a proven track record as an International Account Director within manufacturing/wholesale selling across multiple countries and various sectors.Requirements: · Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability · Ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships, both locally and globally · Results-driven and highly motivated, with a track record of achieving targets · Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to thrive under pressure · This would suit a Global Sales Director, a Managing Director that needs more freedom and fun or an International Account Director that can drive growth.THE COMPANY:We have created a multimillion-pound business in the UK and the US where we are the number one supplier in our industry and want to replicate this success to the rest of the world.
