Job Description

Additional benefits include a pension and a healthcare scheme but perhaps more appealingly, genuine opportunities for career enhancement and a platform to play a major role in shaping the future success of the organisation.What youll be involved in: As a Commercial Analyst, your role extends beyond mere data collection; youll craft meaningful insights, deliver compelling reports, and mould the trajectory of the future. Your remit will include:

  • The provision of analytical support across all facets of the commercial function, creating essential reports for insights and information.
  • Generate commercial insightful reports across the entire duration of contract cycles
  • Deliver reporting on specific facets of the business such as Profitability and sales (By customer/Sector/Product/Location)
  • Oversee the monthly commercial forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and currency of data within specified date parameters.
  • Report on conversion rates within the commercial function, encompassing new opportunities and retention efforts.
  • Provide weekly input on key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate statistical insights.
  • Develop comprehensive reports using various in-house systems, offering insights crucial for informed business decisions.
  • Monitor and track underperforming contracts, taking necessary steps in collaboration with the contract owner
  • Take on the responsibility as the primary user of key systems, ensuring the refinement of processes, as well as reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to amplify success across the business
Your skills/Experience: Preferably, you possess the calibre of a relevant professional degree or thorough extensive and demonstrable practical experience. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a commercially focussed analytical capacity. Your proficiency in AdvancedExcel capabilities, coupled with (preferably) prior experience in Power BI, will be highly valuable in this role.Your capacity to highlight superb research and data analysis skills, revealing your adeptness at delving deep into information to extract valuable insights, will be of utmost importance. Your outstanding attention to detail stands as a key attribute, guaranteeingaccuracy and precision in all tasks.
