Job Description

Vacancy profilePosition: CNC Turner Setter OperatorLocation: CoventryHours of work: Day shiftHourly rate: up to£14/ hrThe RoleA job opportunity for a CNC Turner Setter/Operator has become available within a reputable precision engineering company in Coventry.The position will involve:

  • setting and operating CNC Lathes (Mazak, Integrex, Doosan Puma, Mazatrol, Fanuc desirable).
  • working from engineering drawings.
  • program editing or part programming is advantageous however not essential.
  • manufacturing components for various industries such as Automotive, Oil & Gas, Aerospace etc.
  • inspection of components using verniers, callipers and micrometres.
    • The role is a Monday to Friday day shift position, 8.30am - 5pm.The Candidate
  • Apprentice trained or suitably experienced engineer
  • A proven history in CNC Turning Setting and Operating.
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a precision machining environment.
  • Able to correctly interpret engineering drawings.
  • Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment.
  • Previous work within the Automotive, Oil & Gas, Aerospace industries would be beneficial, however, is not essential.
  • Able to concentrate and maintain focus for long periods of time.
