Job Description

Position: CNC Turner ProgrammerShift: Day (8:30am - 5:00pm)Location: CoventryHourly rate: up to £17 p/hr DOEThe RoleA job opportunity for a CNC Turner Programmer has become available within a reputable precision engineering company in Coventry.The position will involve:

  • Programming, Setting and operating Doosan Puma CNC Turning machines.
  • Working from engineering drawings.
  • Manufacturing components for several industries including Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Aerospace.
  • Inspection of components using verniers, callipers and micrometres.

  • A proven history in CNC Programming.
  • Previous PUMA CNC Lathe experience is essential.
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a precision machining environment.
  • Able to correctly interpret engineering drawings.
  • Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment.
  • Previous work within the Oil & Gas/ Power Generation/ Aerospace industries would be beneficial, however, is not essential.
  • Offline and CAD programming would be advantageous.
