Job Description

Citrix Engineer - Up to 50K D.O.ECoventrySalary up to - 50K D.O.ECertifications & Development I have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Citrix Engineer to join an established market leading IT Solutions company in Stratford Upon Avon. An award-winning company who are VMware & Microsoft Partnered urgently require an ambitious Citrix Consultant who is experienced with XenApp, Xen Desktop, Citrix NetScaler & VMware to join their expanding technical team.In this role you will be responsible for operating, deploying and troubleshooting Citrix NetScaler, XenApp, Xen Desktop and VMware. You will also need to have thorough knowledge and understanding of methodologies for deployment purposes within a Citrix environment They are looking for a Citrix specialist with a wide knowledge range who can thrive in a busy working environment and be a key member of their IT team.Not only will you be working within an ever-growing IT solutions company, they also offer paid certifications and professional development as standard, as well as a paid company holiday in the summer.   • Management of enterprise scale Citrix environments
  • A strong knowledge of either Windows or Linux
  • Previous exposure to Load balancing
  • Excellent understanding of designing, implementing and maintaining server-based computing solutions with Citrix XenApp/Xendesktop.
  • Good working knowledge of Citrix PVS and associated concepts.
  • Familiar with providing highly available solutions based on XenApp/Xendesktop components.
  • Continually review design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
  • Lead or assist in Citrix and infrastructure-based technology projects and tasks both clients focused and internal
  • Ensuring configuration, change and event management processes, procedures and controls are implemented and adhered to.
  • Technical understanding of networking protocols
  • Understanding of Netscalers, MFA and storefront services
