Job Description

HumberCourt, part of the Extra Care Charitable Trust, are recruiting now for Care and Support Workers!This is an exciting time to be joining the friendly and supportive team at HumberCourt. You will play a major part in providing the domiciliary care serviceto our residents and promoting Independent Living to the over 55s.This is domiciliary care with a difference. Are you currently a Care Assistant or Support Worker who iscompassionate, patient, and personableand looking to progress your career with a forward-thinking Care Provider If so, we would like to hear from you.
  • Role:Care and Support WorkerNights
  • Hours:16 hours per week (2 x 8 hour shifts per week on a rota basis across 7 days a week)
  • Rate of Pay: £10.20ph
  • Location: Humber Court, Abbey Park, Humber Road, Coventry, CV3 4FE
As a Care and Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
  • Provide all aspects of domiciliary careto our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
  • Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
  • Encourage independence and self-belief
  • Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.
Person Specification
  • Hold acare certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification
  • Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
  • Passionate about delivering a quality care service
  • Flexible with hours.
