B2B Sales Executive£50k OTE from a £35k base plus car allowance/company car.This is an exciting opportunity for a B2B sales professional to join a leading manufacturer of gas analysis and detection equipment focused on industrial processes and mobile systems for environmental professionals. The business punches above its weight by creating niche solutions that are tailored for the customers specific needs. This focus and a commitment to customer service means they are entering a growth phase, following a change of ownership. The nature of their products makes it a technical sale to knowledgeable customers working on important projects. Success is based on listening to customers, understanding their needs and delivering fit for purpose solutions to projects. They are a trusted partner with a 30-year track record to a number of household names who need high quality, reliable and cost-effective gas analysis solutions. Examples of industrial process applications are biogas from sewage or feedstock, energy from waste and gasification, gas detection and mobile site investigation and monitoring.The RoleThis role is focused on business development and is mainly field based serving their UK customers. The Head Office is in Coventry and after the initial training period, they would expect this to be your base but to be out with customers most days of the week. As an experienced B2B technical sales professional you wont need them to spell out the role but the usual points apply:- Source new sales leads and handle the internally generated opportunities;- Develop a winning proposal for the customers projects;- Build and maintain trust based, long-term client relationships;- Reporting to the CEO on the pipeline, forecasts, performance etc. You will be supported with internal sales and technical expertise but must be able to work effectively in Microsoft Office to produce quality proposals for demanding clients.The Candidate- Proven track record in B2B technical sales, ideally with experience in either the gas analysis industry or one of their main applications;- Must be able to show excellent presentation skills and be able to create a winning proposal for their prospects and clients; - May consider an exceptional candidate looking for a first move into sales with highly relevant technical or application experience;- Highly motivated, hardworking, technically strong and good team player;- Full driving license as this is a field-based role.
