The team provide financial planning and advice to individuals, households and businesses and pride themselves on having a holistic approach with expertise in wealth andtax strategies, investment planning and corporate pensions. The team consists of two Directors, a Financial Planner, Paraplanner and three Administration Staff.Job Role An exciting opportunity has arisen within the team for an Assistant Consultant to work closely with the Employee Benefits Director. The role is ideally suited to someone who is a client focused, self-starter who enjoys working in a team and is highly numeratewith an excellent level of attention to detail. The role is ideal for someone who has experience, and interest in, the employee benefits and corporate IFA side of Financial Services.Job Responsibilities• Provide administrative support, in line with procedures, to the Employee Benefits Director in their work with clients, including direct liaison with clients when necessary, attending selected meetings, assisting in preparing recommendation reports, monitoringand completion of all actions which arise from client meetings, drafting letters/emails and sending information to clients in line with the reporting schedule or on an ad-hoc basis as required• Researching marketplace for corporate pensions and risk benefit solutions and keeping up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes, as required• Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times• Follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm at all times and comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and relevant FCA rules at all times• To be responsible for the proactive and positive implementation of Consumer Duty, to pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly, act in good faith towards retail customers, avoid causing foreseeable harm and enable and support retailcustomers to pursue their financial objectives. Above all, the aim is to deliver good outcomes for customers at all timesRole requirements• Minimum of 3-5 years working in an employee benefits or corporate IFA support role• Understanding of, and experience of using, CRM systems such as Intelligent Office, X-Plan and CURO• Strong understanding of corporate pensions, group life and group income protection products and arrangements• Ability to follow and work within defined processes• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal• Eye for detail and accurate when working with data• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel & Outlook mainly)• Able to work well in a team and communicate with individuals at all levels with a positive and flexible attitude
