Job Description

Capita have worked with Transport for London (TfL) since 2014, we manage Londons Congestion Charging Zone, Low Emission Zone and Traffic Enforcement Notice Processing activities for our client. We also oversee the new Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and we are responsible for the design, implementation and operation of the systems, as well as all front and back office processes on TfLs behalf. Together, were helping reduce traffic congestion and improve the service TfL provides its customers by allowing them to reinvest all proceeds back into their services. By joining us, youll be helping our mission to support TfL in their journey to realise the Mayor of Londons ambitious plans to protect Londoners from the damaging health impacts of air pollution.The opportunityAs an Application Support Analyst you will report into the Frontline Team Leader and will be responsible for supporting all applications aligned to the TFL business unit encompassing any of the technical streams within the team.You will use your problem-solving skills daily and have a flexible approach when solving issues whilst working with individuals at all levels in the organisation along with a knowledge of software support, and excellent data analysis skills.The Role

  • Proactively deal with incidents and requests assigned to the team by the helpdesk
  • Analyse systems and data to investigate and resolve reported system and data issues
  • Ensure that documentation is kept up to date and knowledge is shared between team members
  • Ensure system uptime achieves strict KPIs
  • Resolve incidents within strict KPIs
  • Ensure that processes defined for the team are followed
  • Participate in the on call rota as required
  • Perform out of hours changes as required by the business
  • The Person
  • Knowledge of working within an ITIL environment
  • Experience of troubleshooting technical/application issues
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills
