Job Description

Fixed Term Contract until end of November 2022Here at Stonewater, we are looking for a passionate and driven IT Applications Developer to join our Project Delivery Team. This role is to assist our IT Project Delivery Manager in the delivery of IT projects, either developing new solutions in line withour strategic roadmap or enhancements to our existing systems, keeping Stonewater ahead of the field!The ideal candidate will:

  • Ideally hold a Degree in a computer related discipline or have the equivalent level of experience.
  • Proven experience of applying analytical skills to complex technical and business processes and recommend solutions - focusing on successful delivery of outcomes.
  • Experience in delivering IT based projects using a structured methodology, and actively involved in projects through the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and support.
  • Proven working knowledge of Microsoft software / SQL / SharePoint / O365 product suite / Collaboration Tools and excellent understanding of applications within the housing sector.
  • Ability to adapt to a continually changing environment with a significant program of business change - removes obstacles to change and resolves problems.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and persuading skills at all levels within Stonewater - open, honest and inclusive communication style.
  • Strong team player orientation - collaborative, proactive, enthusiastic and willing to assist others.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to organise and prioritise own workload, coupled with the ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate appropriate judgement.
  • Ability to work under pressure to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Microsoft professional certification MCSA: SQL Server
Ideally, the IT Applications Developer will have knowledge of PMI, PRINCE2 Project Management and ITIL principles and have experience of working in the housing sector, however this is by no means essential.Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.Discover Stonewater:Stonewater is a leading housing provider.
