Advanced Metrology Technician Coventry£Competitive SalaryOur client has an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Metrology Technician based at their state of the art facility near CoventryReporting to the Metrology Lab - Team Leader, you will be involved in supporting the manufacturing process from job request through to delivery of components using correct inspection methodology. You will be responsible for the set-up and operation of themetrology systems and ensure that route cards and instructions are adhered to at all times. You will generate and support quotes and lead times and maintain equipment to achieve the full manufacturing cycle.With experience in metrology techniques, it is essential that the successful candidate has experience with CMM (PD-DMIS/MODUS Software) or 3DSL (ATOS Professional/Polyworks Software). Youll demonstrate a good understanding of fixturing, MSA, Gauge R&R andSPC and will be accustomed to interpreting customer requirements / technical drawings. Youll have an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or relevant experience with metrology or similar such as a mechanical background.Their benefits package includes a competitive base salary as well as 25 days annual leave + public holidays.
