Job Description

Accounts Administrator (Residential Lettings) - CoventryAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator or Lettings Professional to join a leading property company specialising in residential sales & lettings across the UK. They pride themselves on a professional service and in-depth knowledgeof the UK property market. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join a vibrant team.The Package£24,000 to £26,000Monday to FridayJob Overview: The Accounts Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our residential lettings portfolio. This role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and providing financialsupport to ensure the smooth operation of our lettings department.Key Responsibilities:

  • Process rental payments and ensure timely and accurate recording in the accounting system.
  • Manage landlord and tenant accounts, including issuing statements and handling queries.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly cash flow statements and year-end accounts.
  • Coordinate with the lettings team to ensure charges, fees, and expenses are accurately billed and recorded.
  • Handle deposit registrations and releases in accordance with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
  • Liaise with external parties such as contractors, suppliers, and tax authorities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the lettings team, including handling correspondence and maintaining records.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an accounts or finance role, preferably within the property sector.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • AAT qualification or similar is advantageous but not essential.
