Account Manager with proven success managing a client base of customers who are using ERP software - or something similar such as transport management solutions, DMS, merchants software, automotive, legal, construction, field service, or retail softwareetc. This software reseller has two UK offices. The role is remote from home, (or you can be office based if you want to) but ideally, they would like someone living centrally in the Midlands area for easier access to clients. Base salary to £50k with an OTEof £90-£100k + car allowance.If you are a solid, performance driven software Account Manager working with ERP type application software and you are adept at developing trusting relationships with your clients and can upsell / upgrade and / or renew software, licenses, and support contracts,this is a fabulous account management role. You will have a lot of autonomy, the freedom to organise yourself and look after your customers the way that you want to, with a great team around you sharing goals. Some of the clients in this niche market, canbe quite demanding, so a thick skin would also be helpful!You are motivated and driven and capable of producing commercially sound proposals and quotes, keeping the CRM system meticulously up to date with contacts, forecasts, and sales activity, attending marketing events, and trade shows, as well as visiting customerswhere required.You will inherit and look after around 150 of their accounts and will be expected to have an understanding of the software implementation process, software licensing, software services, training, payment terms, benefits proposals and benefits selling. Youwill work with their Marketing Manager and the Head of Sales to plan communications and work with the implementation consultants to agree functional requirements and build proposals, to ensure the right products and services are delivered to the clients.This software business is a real success story, they sell scalable mid-range ERP software solutions, on premise and in the cloud to a niche market, where the product is well known and well loved. They have around 50 staff and are growing and they have veryhigh core values. They want someone who is confident, enthusiastic and knows their stuff when it comes to building and maintaining client loyalty in the ERP software space. You can understand the clients business requirements & needs, you have excellent engagement,presentation & negotiating skills and good commercial acumen, and are ambitious, tenacious and resourceful.Ideally you will have account managed a client base of customers using software such as Kerridge, Orderwise, simPRO, SAP Business One, Pinewood, OGL Profit4, Dynamics NAV, Sage 200, CDK / Keyloop, Protean, Infor, Greentree, Coins, SAP Business ByDesign,Access Dimensions, Intact IQ, or similar.The software they sell is exceptionally good and you have an award-winning support team behind you.
