Quality Support Technician

Job Description

Our Corsham based client are looking for a Quality Support Technician to join their team. Monday to Friday - Early - 06:00 till 14:00 - Pay rate £11.30phMonday to Friday - late - 14:00 till 22:00 - Pay rate £11.60phRoleThe Quality Support Technician is responsible for actioning activities required to meet Quality /Medical device and IVD Standards and regulations. They will support and advise on the application of the quality management system within the production environment.Role Specific Responsibilities and Duties, directly or through report.*Report directly to the Quality Systems Lead Supervisor.*Ensure production personnel adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), thus complying with regulatory requirements.*Ensure inspection data is recorded, summarise re-works and wastes and input these into the appropriate database.*Assist the Shift Manager in ensuring that all production personnel are fully qualified and competent to carry out their roles, especially inspection functions.*Carry out checks to ensure that SOPs reflect current practice and fit for purpose*Liaising with those responsible for Document Control, review, and amend SOPs as required, *Identify and propose process improvements that enhance quality and production efficacy.*Carry out internal auditing, feed results back to relevant departments, assist in the development of resolutions and follow through audit actions to completion.*Accept responsibility and make decisions appropriate to the level of the role.General Responsibilities and Duties*Take equal responsibility in identifying skill and knowledge development needs and suggesting ways to address these.*Carry out daily activities in line with the Companys policies, procedures, and processes, updating appropriate records and performing appropriate transactions.*Keep the Quality Systems Lead Supervisor informed of any significant changes in any areas related to the role.In addition to the main duties there will also be other job-related tasks that will need to be actioned by you to support the running of the Company.
