Job Description

KAP Technical recruitment Job Title: TIG Welder FabricatoLocation: CorbyRate of Pay: £15.00 to £17.00 per hour KAP Technical is collaborating with a highly skilled and accredited engineering company with extensive experience in the construction, pharmaceutical, food, and utility sectors across the nation. They specialize in the productionof food conveyor systems, platforms, staircases, CAT ladders, handrails, barriers, as well as iron and security gates.Role: As a TIG Welder Fabricator, you will work with stainless steel materials ranging from 0.5mm to 5mm thickness. Your primary responsibilities will include fabricating various products in workshops according to engineering drawings. Theseproducts will later be sent to different sites for fitting. Experience in the food industry is expected for this role.Additional Details:

  • Skilled in TIG welding of stainless steel materials.
  • On-site work involved, with access to a company van.
  • Possibility of obtaining a CSCS card.
  • Overtime opportunities available.
  • Training options available through the companys sister training company, if needed.
  • Potential for career progression into roles like team leader or Chargehand.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proficiency in TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel.
  • Ability to work from engineer drawings.
  • Prior experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • Coded welding experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Friday: 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Job Type:
  • Full-time, permanent position.
