Job Description

ROLE: Warehouse SupervisorLOCATION: CorbyHOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday (Rotating AM & PM)BASIC SALARY: £25K - £27K D.O.ECompany ProfileOur client is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their organisation based in Corby on a permanent basis.In this Warehouse Supervisor role, you will:

  • Organise and take responsibility for the running of the shift on a weekly /monthly basis and liaise with manager on staffing, holiday and training requirements
  • To conduct back to work interviews and staff disciplinaries following the company process.
  • To maintain all relevant databases.
  • To complete all probationary paperwork for new starters and conduct annual reviews on all staff.
  • Communicate with the shift Management team.
  • To ensure that all warehouse staff are following the correct procedures.
  • To ensure activities related to the receiving, picking and loading of products to meet customer order requirement are being followed.
  • Conform and ensure all applicable Standard Operating Procedures for operating practices are being adhered to.
  • Conform and ensure all Company policies regarding EHS, Quality, and G.W.P are being adhered to and lead by example.
  • Attend regular communication/awareness and training sessions, either given by your line manager or via other presentations.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operators are completing tasks within the Warehouse to fulfil the receipt and preparation of orders which are destined for customers are within the pre-set standards.
In order to be successful as a Warehouse Supervisor you must have:
  • Previous Warehouse experience with responsibility as a team leader / supervisor
  • Good all round communication and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of English (both reading and writing).
  • Good eye for detail.
  • Where applicable hold a current MHE license necessary for the task (training will be given).
  • 3PL background.
  • Basic first aid.
  • Basic Manual handling / Fire Marshal training
  • Good understanding of excel and word and WMS systems
