Job Description

Vehicle TrimmerSalary: £16.55 ph Hours: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pmLocation: CorbyIgloo have a fantastic opportunity for an automotive vehicle trimmer, the role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies who have operations across the country as well as in other parts of the World. Within this role you will be stripping parts and panels from both the interior and exterior of a range of vehicles from small family cars through to high end vehicles & light commercials, within a busy automotive bodyshop.The Role:

  • You will be responsible for removing parts and panels off a range of vehicles, such as (not limited to):
  • Door trims, Door handles (interior and exterior), Wing mirrors, Light units, Door cards, Doors, Seats, etc.
  • You will need to ensure that all nuts, bolts, screws and any other fixings are labelled and correctly stored ready for when the stripped parts and panels are needed to be put back on to the vehicle.
    • What kind of person we are looking for:
  • Previous experience within a trimmer or strip and fit position.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must hold a full category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
  • Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player.
