Job Description

Supply Chain Assistant£22,500 to £25,000 plus 20% Bonus, 10% Pension & 33 days holiday ( Inc Bank Holidays)CorbyFood ManufacturingA food manufacturing company are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to support the Supply Chain function covering planning, purchasing, warehousing and packaging. Youll have experience working within a fast paced supply chain environment with knowledgeof the supply chain process.As a Supply Chain Assistant your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

  • Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager you will support the efficient day to day running of the Supply Chain department.
  • Generation and distribution of key reports on a daily basis.
  • Reporting issues on delivery to suppliers within a 24 hour period.
  • Maintaining the internal ERP systems, updating both purchased parts and manufactured goods.
  • Manage and monitor the purchasing inbox and confirm purchase orders.
  • Support & cover the Production Planner to maintain consistency in production plans.
  • Working closely with the Junior Buyer & Supply Chain Manager to manage inventory levels.
  • Creation and analysing of data and providing solutions.
An exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant with the following.
  • Previous experience and understanding of the Supply Chain process within FMCG or Food manufacturing.
  • Looking to develop a career with Supply Chain.
  • Understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to manage varied workloads & projects.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
