My client is a leading third party logistics provider that offers a variety of logistics solutions. Based in Corby, they have become one of the market leaders within their sectors. As a result of sustained expansion, they are looking to add a Stock Controller to their growing team. The Role:- Ensure supplied stocks meet demand. - Prevent overstocking and ordering.- Keep track of inventory and supplies that need restocking. - Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies. - Create and maintain detailed inventory of all incoming, outgoing, and current supplies.- Prepare inventory for deliveries and shipping.- Compile reports inventory and supply balances. - Make note of damaged inventory. - Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. - Verify receipts and confirm that purchase orders are complete. The Ideal Candidate:- Over 2 years experience as a stock controller or stock coordinator. - Experience within 3rd party logistics is preferable. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel.- Fully versed in SAP and RedPrairie. - Excellent numerical skills. - Has an analytical approach and a can do attitude.
