Company DescriptionJob DescriptionStock Controller£14.53 per hour plus great benefits42.5 hours Per weekShift Detail: Sunday - Thursday ( 00:00 - 09:00)CorbyWe are excited to be growing our team with a new Stock Controller at our Fresh Direct Corby Depot. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and develop their warehouse stock knowledge. You will be working across multiple departments,both in the warehouse and in the office to support achieving business targets.You’ll be responsible for making sure that full stock counts in the warehouse is completed daily capturing information accurately onto Microsoft excel spreadsheets and our inhouse system to produce reports. As Stock Controller you will work closely withthe wider teams across the Depot to ensure that we avoid any shortages of goods to our customers. We will rely upon you to investigate discrepancies into major stock variances as part of quality control and waste management.This is a busy role, and no 2 dayswill be the same!We are keen to welcome Stock Controllers that are MHE trained, however don’t worry we can provide training where needed. You will need to be computer literate as a large proportion of the role requires you to working on spreadsheets and data capture forKPI reporting so you must be accurate - having previous working knowledge Microsoft Excel would be advantageous. As well as basic numeracy and literacy you’ll need strong attention to detail and be able to meet tight deadlines whilst remaining calm underpressure. We will need you to adapt to new systems and procedures easily with a reliable and flexible “Can do” attitude.As well as an eye for detail, you’ll need to be comfortable in a cool environment (we’ll provide a free thermal uniform to keep you warm),be physically fit to lift weights of up to 25kg and have your own transport to get here.In return we offer a great package including salary, generous holiday allowance plus the option to purchase more, pension plus huge discounts on award- winning products.
