Job Description

Senior IT TechnicianAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Senior IT Technician based in Corby. An attractive package is on offer to include a fully expensed company vehicle, attractive salary and annual bonus scheme.Hours of work are normally 9am to 5.30pm when office based, the role will be predominantly office based but will involve providing out of hours cover as a member of a team on rotation one week in three.Role Requirements

  • The successful applicant will have good communication skills as pre and post sales technical support requirements mean that this at times is a directly customer facing role.
  • Applicants should be familiar with intel-based server architecture and had exposure to Storage Area Networks using ISCSI and Fibre protocols.
  • Software used internally includes Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Remote Desktop as well as some exposure to VMWare and Windows Spaces.
  • The company is keen to develop professional qualifications and will support applicants financially who can demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Applicants must be able to problem solve and self-identify training and learning requirements
    • Role Responsibilities
  • The role will involve providing second level technical support to both external customers and internal stakeholders along with the maintenance of the company’s own internal IT systems.
