Maintenance Engineer with Robotics knowledge, £55,000 Monday to Friday days.Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer with a strong working knowledge of Robotics and Automation from within a manufacturing industry. We are recruiting a Robotics Maintenance Engineer to join an extremely successful food process and packaging business in Corby. The Robotics Maintenance Engineer will be involved in supporting thedevelopment of the new automation on site, maintaining various robotic cells, whilst providing continuous improvements in a fast moving manufacturing siteAs the Robotics Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities will be: ·Responsible for the robot maintenance and programming. ·Support the team when required in maintaining other process and packaging equipment on site ·Electrical fault-finding ·Fault finding on PLCs. ·Ensure the continuous running of the production process. ·Eliminate engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. ·Site expert on Robots and controls.Essential knowledge & experience required: ·Programming and maintenance of robots (ideally Fanuc) ·Machinery safety systems. ·High-level understanding of Variable speed drives, pneumatics, hydraulics ·PLC experience ·Continuous improvement of processes Qualifications required: ·Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification ·NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance ·Time served apprentice in an engineering discipline ·HNC level in electrical engineeringThis role involves occasional call out when support is required.Commutable from Corby, Kettering, Market Harborough, Leicester, Peterborough, Wellingborough
