Job Description

Quality ManagerCorby based: Commutable from: Kettering , Desborough, Peterborough£45,000- £50,000 + Bonus + Holidays + World Leading Company Are you a Quality Manager looking to join a world leading business offering a technically diverse and highly autonomous position working in a state of the art facilityDue to their overseas and European offices opening and continued growth and investment they are looking for a Quality Manager to join the team.In this autonomous role you will be responsible for the driving continuous improvement working with operations to achieve zero defects and developing a "right first time" culture. You will have the chance to implement your own ideas, train through externalcourses and to further progress your career.This is a great chance to implement your skills and knowledge within quality management for a fast growing, globally recognised company that will support your career development.The Role:

  • Provides leadership to ensure that Quality Management Systems (QMS) comply with the requirements of internationally recognized quality and environmental standards (ISO 9001, TS16949, ISO 14001, and/or AS9100).
  • Establish strong one-to-one relationships with the key quality contacts of our customers consumer plants, specifically providing in-person regular visits to my clients top customers (those who make up the top 80% by value).
  • Serves as the management representative for external audits and coordinates surveillance activities for customers and registration organizations.
  • Set a standard and expectations for all Quality related matters
The Person:
  • Technical or Managerial Degree/Background, with proven initiative and planning, organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of QA systems and standard operating procedures ISO 9001, TS16949, AS9000 and ISO 14001.
  • Holds appropriate Quality Certifications, from recognized accrediting organizations
