Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Payable ManagerLocation: PermanentType: PermanentSalary: £28,000 to £32,000Work Arrangement: 80% Office BasedMacildowie is partnering with a leading multi-site business to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Manager on a permanent basis. This role involves supporting ongoing projects and overseeing a substantial Accounts Payable team across the UK and an outsourcedunit.Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, including oversight of the function and external provider
  • Handling ad hoc project assignments
  • Enhancing performance, troubleshooting issues, and refining processes
  • Assisting the current Accounts Payable Manager with ongoing initiatives
  • Adapting to unexpected tasks and challenges
Requirements:
  • Transactional Accounting background with demonstrated project leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in high-paced environments, skilled in process analysis and improvement
  • Resilient and tenacious mindset, suited for a demanding role
  • Adaptability and ability to excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting
