Job Description

A Part Time Accounts Assistant is required to join our clients growing business.This will be a fast paced, varied role and is offered with the option to either work from home and/or be office based - extremely flexible. Hours are 16-20 per week and can be split across 3, 4 or 5 days.September start date.You will work closely with the Head of Finance covering all aspects of transactional processing and bookkeeping and specific duties will include:

  • Accurate processing of purchase and sales invoices in Sage300
  • Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure payments are received and made on time
  • Preparing payments on the banking system
  • Resolving any ledger issues with customers and suppliers
  • Working in multiple currencies - mainly Euros and Czech Koruna but also USD
  • Supporting UK and Czech VAT submissions through tracking and recording of documentation including customs documents and ensuring post-Brexit UK and CZ VAT rules are correctly applied to invoices.
You should have previous accounts/bookkeeping experience with the ability to take ownership of the full ledger function. Ideally you will have foreign currency and VAT submissions experience and have strong organisation, communication and IT skills.For further details please contact one2one Recruitment Ltd.
