Role: Manufacturing Engineer Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5pm - 30 mins unpaid break Job Type: Full time, Permanent The Client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, leading global manufacturer of engineered fasteners, installation machines and parts feeding equipment on their search for an experience Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. Our clientoffers a great working environment at their state-of-the-art site based in Corby and are looking for a manufacturing engineer to aid the growth of the company. The Package: - Salary between £45,000-£50,000 dependent on experience - Overtime available at enhanced rate (1.25x, 1.33x, 1.5x) - 28 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays - 10 Days PTO (paid time off to cover sickness, medical appointments, emergency leave, childcare etc) - Company Pension, Health Care Plan - Salary sacrifice pension scheme - Funded Qualifications (Electrical, 18th edition etc) - Training & Development surrounding electrical & mechanical capabilities The Role: - You will be responsible to develop, document and maintain optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes. - Have technical ownership of assigned processes: equipment, processes, procedures and troubleshooting. - Assist with the purchase, installation and implementation of capital equipment projects and recommend and implement continuous improvements - Actively investigate technical process and product variances and drive corrective actions to eliminate them. - Manage the manufacturing launch of new/revised products and processes. - Promote Safety, Environmental and Occupational Health compliance into processes and procedures. - Develop technical training material to educate employees to effectively execute the manufacturing process. The Requirements: - Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer within a similar working environment (essential) - Relevant qualifications, either electrical or mechanical (city & guilds.
