11551 - Management Accountant Job SpecLocation: Corby, Northants Summary Are you looking to work within a close-knit, lively team within a dynamic, friendly company Following a period of solid growth over the past decade, my client - a successful B2B service sector company based in Corby - is seeking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a newly created position. Working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be a key critical team member within the finance function of the business. In essence, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of the companys financial information, assisting management with strategic planning and decision making.Responsibilities *Production of monthly management accounts, *Prepayments and accruals, *Cashflow forecasting, *Submission of group VAT returns, *Assist with the production of Board packs and supporting analytical information, *Assisting with the preparing of company budgets and forecasts, *Project Work, *Ad-hoc duties relevant to the role. Reporting to: Financial Controller Requirements *Be a qualified or part-qualified accountant or proven QBE. All qualifications should be relevant and up to date, *Possess strong knowledge and experience working within the accounts function of an SME, *Strong analytical skills, *Be self-motivated, assertive, proactive & possess initiative with a strong attention to detail, *Be highly organised and capable of working to deadlines, *IT literate and proficient with MS Excel. Experience with Xero would be a bonus. *Good Communication Skills.
