Job Description

The Finance & Accountancy Division at The One Group is actively recruiting for a Management Accountant on the behalf of a family-owned business who is going from strength to strength. Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be accountable for the smoothoperation of processes and controls within the business. This will involve financial management, corporate accounting and budgeting and forecasting preparation.As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to identify trends
  • Financial forecast, including profit and loss and budgeting and forecasting
  • Creating weekly KPI reporting
  • Preparing accurate management accounts for recommendation and guidance to the senior management team
  • Completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Day to day accountability of the financial at Group level
  • Other duties required from senior management team
As the Management Accountant, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • Experienced in management accounting
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Competent on Excel
  • Proactive and reactive in your approach
