Job role: Maintenance Engineer - Shifts Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Hours: 6:00-18:00 & 18:00-6:00 - 2-2-3 (Panama) shift pattern days and nights rotations Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leading food manufacturing firm based in the heart of Corby on their search for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their growing engineering team. Our client has been establishedfor over 40 years and are now at a stage of growth where they are looking to add a highly skilled and qualified electromechanical engineer to their shift engineering team. The Benefits: · Salary between £45,000-£50,000 dependent on experience - inclusive of shift allowance · 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays · Pension Scheme · Ongoing commitment to training and progression · On-site parking · Great opportunity to join a global company The Role: · Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on plant machinery · Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of machinery including utilities (compressors, boilers, cooling towers, refrigeration etc), waste water treatment machinery and the general site facilities · Installations & Repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment · Mechanical & Electrical fault finding & rectification · Managing the general site, implementing continuous improvement methods to ensure smooth running of the plant and minimise downtime The Requirements: · Minimum 5 years worth of experience as a Maintenance Engineer (essential) · Previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment (essential) · Proven mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities (essential) · Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition) - essential · Knowledge and understanding of Lean manufacturing, preferably Six Sigma methodologies (essential) · In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on plant machinery Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
