Maintenance Engineer- Permanent Salary - £50,048 Corby - Northamptonshire Hours Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6amMaintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer / FMCG / Engineer / Mechanical / Electrical / Conveyor / Food / Systems / Corby/ NorthamptonshireThe Recruitment Group is working with a privately owned global food manufacturer based in Corby that offers a real family-feel culture.Purpose of the Maintenance Engineer role:You will be working in the maintenance department Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of buildings and ground areas of the Corby plant facility along with helping with continuous improvements across the site. A lot of the work is planned maintenance; however, you will also need to be super reactive. Benefits for the Maintenance Engineer . 20 days + Bank holidays . Health care cash back plan Main duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer. Maintenance of plant and equipment . Repairing Conveyors, Bagging Machines, and other pieces of equipment . Identifying, diagnosing, and fixing faults and breakdowns . Carrying out of planned Preventative Maintenance . Facilitating and executing continuous improvement activities . Liaising with Engineering Manager to plan corrective actions . Prioritising and managing workload to ensure minimum impact on production efficiency. . Completion of paperwork . Supporting all manufacturing facilities as required Experience/knowledge requirements for the Maintenance Engineer. NVQ Level 3 Engineering Maintenance or equivalent .
