Job Title: High Pressure CasterLocation: Uppingham/CorbyContract Type: Permanent/Temp-To-PermHours / Days: Available Shifts (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00) Monday - FridaySalary: £11-12phImmediate start available Role & Main Duties:We are looking for a Low Pressure Die Caster to join our clients expanding team in Northamptonshire.The Company:Our client are a long-standing frontrunner in the aluminium casting sector - and have a local staff base of well over 100 employees. This is a chance to join a reputable company, who aim to nurture their staff and develop the best talent possible.The ideal candidate will have previous foundry/casting experience and will be familiar with the working environment. Our client need to ensure that any candidates are fit and healthy to be considered suitable for the role.The Role:* Producing low pressure castings to specification.* Carrying out quality checks in line with company standards.* Identifying process improvements. * High degree of care over work and individual section* Physically demanding and at times high pressure environment.* For the role of Die Casting / Press Operator, you will need to have or be:- Previous die casting machine or press machine operating experience / knowledge would be advantageous.- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.- Flexible and able to work within a small team. - Understanding of working low pressure die casting would be advantageousHours & Rewards. As High Pressure Caster, you will work 40 hours per on a weekly rotating shift, one week working the 06:00-14:00 shift, the following the 14:00-22:00 shift (Monday to Friday) There is a starting wage on offer of circa £13 per hour, depending upon experience, with an increase once you are working independently in the area.
