Job Description

ROLE: Light PackingLOCATION: CorbyHOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 (Rotating)BASIC SALARY: £410 per weekADDITIONAL BENEFITS: Overtime pay, 30 days holiday, paid breaks, death in service, career progression.Company ProfileOur client is seeking a Light Packing to join their organisation based in Corby on a permanent basis. Be part of a well invested €400m European food group with a brand new Corby based state of the art factory with the capability for further growth driven by new product and business development and manufacturing efficiencies.In this Light Packing role, you will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a team to ensure packing, labelling and palletisation of finished product meet the standards set out by each Customer
  • To support production areas when requested
  • To ensure that the machine is in a safe working condition and that health and safety rules are adhered to at all times.
    • In order to be successful as a Light Packing Operative you must:
  • Experience within in a production / manufacturing environment essential
  • A keen eye and understanding of process and continuous improvement
  • Flexible to change as the business continues to grow
  • Good communication, both written and verbal with a good command of the English language
    • Qualifications - Not essential but desirable
  • HACCP Level 1/2
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • IOSH
  • Knowledge of improvement techniques
