Job Description

Job Title: HGV / Trailer TechnicianSalary: £18PH + OvertimeLocation: CorbyAlecto Recruitment are working together with our client to find an Experienced HGV Technician.Fantastic New opportunity to be a part of a HGV and trailer specialist offering a fantastic salaryMonday - Friday 8am - 5pmThis is a Full-Time permanent position in the Corby area.The responsibilities:

    • Carrying out PDIs and occasional inspections to company standards
    • Carrying out warranty repairs
    • Advanced diagnostics and repair of specialist heavy haulage trailers
    • Ensure work is carried out to the highest possible standards
    • Predominantly working at the workshop with occasional site work
The ideal candidate will have:
    • The ability to carry out inspections to M.O.T standard
    • A full driving licence
    • Knowledge of pneumatic OR hydraulic systems along with experience in haulage equipment or plant in general is preferred
    • Knowledge of electrical systems and fault diagnostics
