Job Description

Here at D&A Recruitment, we are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for days and nights Tramping in the Corby area.Job DetailsAn exciting temp to permanent opportunity to work for a well-respected logistics distribution and supply chain company Mon - Fri as a HGV Class 1 driver Tramping.Essential Requirements:

  • Literate, with good English language skills.
  • HGV Class 1 driver Tramping.
  • Valid CPC & Tacho.
  • Ability to conduct dynamic risk assessments whilst driving.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Good awareness of surroundings.
  • Confident in working unsupervised.
Your duties will include:
  • Delivering goods on pallets to customers.
  • Driving tautliner class 1 vehicle.
  • Nights out.
  • Ensure the vehicle is driven in line with the operators license.
  • Carry out daily maintenance checks.
  • Complete POD for deliveries.
In Return we offer:
  • Shift rate of pay: £17.00 PH
  • Night out money £25.00.
  • Average hours 13-15 per day.
  • Refer a Driver up to £200
