Job Description

Echo Healthcare Services are looking for Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to work regular shifts in a stunning residential home in Corby 10 minutes from Corby town center.We are looking to hire talented Healthcare Assistants that are passionate about supporting the elderly. We also hire for Wellingborough,Kettering and Hereford HCAs too!You will be welcomed to the Echo Healthcare team with access to staff benefits such as a full range of online training, holiday, weekly pay, Enhanced DBS.The main responsibilities of the job are to support adults living with dementia to live as independently as possible. As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will be supporting elderly residents to live well in a warm, homely, and friendly supportive residentialhome with a brand new modern extension.The hours will be 12 hr shifts 0700-1900/ 1900-0700 days and/or night shifts/ weekends are available.Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant is desirable but not essential as full training can be given to the right candidates.The wellbeing of all residents comes first and foremost, as a precautionary measure, you must have had at least 2 vaccines for COVID-19.Hiring InsightsDesirable but not Essential:

  • Good communication skills and willingness to work flexibly to suit our clients needs.
  • Practical People Moving and Handling training certificate (dated within 1 year)
  • OR a Care Certificate (dated within 3 years)
  • OR Full Mandatory training (dated within 1 year)
Experience:
  • UK healthcare: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Care Certificate (preferred)
  • Mandatory training (dated within 1 year) (preferred)
An NVQ Level 2/3 qualification/ equivalent would be an advantage.Benefits:
